When you're travelling abroad there is a lot to remember, so you it's a good idea to make a check list of things you need to do before you set off! One of the most common hindrances that people travelling abroad encounter is forgetting or loosing their passport! You can't travel abroad without a passport and the number of people who forget to check theirs' is still valid before they set of travelling is extremely surprising. Make sure your passport is still valid months in advance, as it can sometimes take a long time for a new one to be processed!

Also, make sure you pack appropriate clothing! Check out what the climate in the place you're visiting will be like before you choose what clothes you're going to take. If it's a sunny hot country like Turkey then do not forget to pack sunglasses with proper UV protection and some high factor sun screen as you'll definitely need it. Also light, loose fitting clothes are an excellent choice when visiting a hot country. However, don't forget you might also need sunglasses in countries that are not renowned for their hot weather. For example, if you're going skiing you might find it's very sunny on the piste. Also, if you're driving anywhere whilst you're away you'll need sunglasses in case there's strong sun whilst you're driving.

Before you set on for your trip make sure you've got everything you need, as there's nothing worse than arriving at your destination only to find out you've left something behind!
